They advised her that she could pursue a position within the entertainment field. After some thought and debate, she decided to quit school and begin a career as an entertainer. Her debut came in the movie 'Children of Corn: Fields of Terror and she was dissatisfied with her performance. To show her worth that she was a professional, she put in a lot of effort in hone her skills as an actor and appeared in many low-budget flicks. Although it was not an easy path however, her determination and perseverance were not unrewarded. It was after her successful appearance in Training Day that her acting was able to take off.
